Deadly ‘Death Cap’ Mushrooms Spread in California After Heavy Rains

Due to heavy rains in California, mushrooms are growing rapidly. These mushrooms are known as 'Death Caps' because so far three people died after consuming them. Health officials warn released advisory in different languages to alert people to avoid them. These poisonous mushrooms are lethal even after cooking or drying them for long. The consumption causes liver failure in many. 

These mushrooms are not only  dangerous for humans but also for pets. Authorities advised people to buy mushrooms from trusted stores and never pick any wild mushrooms.
